Another drug lab has been raided, were up to 100 kilos have been seized. The entire unit t was used for the drug lab, in which large amounts of ecstasy were produced. Oddly enough one of the suspects was a seventy-five year old women, her son was the main, man in charge.
When it comes to a drug lab, ecstasy would be my last drug of choice there is too many things that could go wrong. First off there is a chance of a chemical explosion, which in turn would destroy your house, and maybe yourself. Also ecstasy requires too much equipment, and chemicals, not to mention a long process, other drugs have long process like marijuana, but in its case you can leave it for the corresponding time, or even leave it definitely with timers, and such. Ecstasy you can’t really get up and leave in the middle of production. Although there is good money in ecstasy, you can get upwards of twenty a pill, using costs not even a dollar (in large productions). My second thought is why somebody, would put there elderly mom, around these dangerous chemicals, I wouldn’t be around them myself, due to the consequences. When it comes to making money, ecstasy is a good profit maker, but nothing will ever be as profiting as cocaine.
Drug labs are slowly ruining or economy , the amount of money we pay to clean up these houses and put those responsible in jail, is outrageous, yet there is no one to end this raid. The person(s) in charge should have to pay for all the necessary costs, it takes to dismantle the lab, not to mention a strict punishment as they, were making these drugs to distribute, which in turn would have effect on our society (i.e. young kids on Ecstasy, stay up, all hooped up, late hours of night, the drug alters their mind state, usually aggression.
In conclusion drugs are drugs, whether it is cocaine or marijuana, producing in order to distribute is an offence, and a tough punishment is necessary. We need to enforce such a penalty that, drug labs, won’t ever exist. We need to make those producers of drugs, think twice before they decided to go into the entrepreneurial world of illegal drugs.
